Purple Ski is an owner-run, single resort specialist and has been providing luxury catered chalet holidays in Méribel, France for 25 seasons now. (Méribel is at the heart of one of the biggest ski areas in the world, and being high up and really well managed, great skiing / snowboarding is pretty much guaranteed.)

Purple Ski’s luxury chalets are among the most stunning available to rent in Méribel, and are ideally situated on/ very near to the slopes and the main town centre. With their emphasis on exceptional levels of service and quality of cuisine not usually found in a ski chalet holiday, Purple Ski has an unrivalled reputation in the area. They are particularly serious about their food and are known in the industry for having the best cooking in the Alps – this was independently endorsed in 2010 in a competition in which scores of excellent companies were nominated by the public, when Purple Ski were the overall winners of The Times Chalet Chef Award.

They are now looking for talented, enthusiastic, hard-working and professional chefs for the winter season (December 2017 to April 2018 inclusive).

Applicants should hold a recognised cooking qualification (e.g., City & Guilds 7061/2, NVQ level 3 or equivalent) and MUST demonstrate at least 4 years post-qualification experience in professional kitchens in restaurants and hotels, preferably working to 3 AA rosette / 1 Michelin star standard or equiv., having held chef de partie or more senior positions.

NOTE: Applicants must be in possession of an EU passport , a UK bank account and a UK National Insurance number.
